The Malaysia Year End Sale is back with savings up to 70% at shops, spas, and restaurants across the country. The big malls in Kuala Lumpur go all out during this promotion with special deals, contests, and fun activities for the whole family.
The Malaysia Year End Sale launched on November 23 at the brand new Fahrenheit 88 mall on the Bukit Bintang shopping strip. Farenheit 88 is celebrating with great prices, live entertainment, and free gifts for shoppers spending MYR150 (USD50) or more. Pavilion Mall has some of the most beautiful Christmas decorations in Kuala Lumpur and kids can get their photo taken with Santa or join a “Little Santa” crafts workshop. Other participating malls in Kuala Lumpur include Suria KLCC, Berjaya Times Square, 1 Utama, Mid Valley, The Gardens, and Sunway Pyramid.
The Malaysia Year End Sale runs from November 20, 2010, until January 2, 2011, and more than 350 shops and department stores in Kuala Lumpur alone are participating. Discounts up to 70% will be offered on all types of products including clothes, shoes, cosmetics, electronics, and housewares.
All of Malaysia’s international airports are also participating in the Year End Sale. In addition to special discounts and vouchers, travelers who spend MYR250 (USD80) or more at an airport restaurant or shop will be entered into the “Indulge and Win” contest for first-class trips to the UK, Australia, or South Africa.
